Fantasy Sports State Monitoring

The FSGA’s Government Affairs Committee works with state & federal politicians, regulators, lobbyists, as well as individual FSGA member companies to help keep fantasy sports fun, legal, and business friendly. Our legislative efforts are always based on one simple set of goals. Those goals are to ensure that fantasy sports are always considered a game of skill (not gambling), have basic consumer protections, and have low or no burdensome taxes, fees, or regulations.

As necessary, the FSGA publishes a Legislative Update Email that goes out to our members. It contains up-to-date details on our state by state efforts as well as an easy-to-follow chart that measures all state laws as they compare to our goals.

As states settle, we organize the regulatory information and update the material you see below.
