RealTime Fantasy Sports, a sponsor of the 2015 FSTA Summer Conference, delivers a comprehensive daily fantasy sports experience, with games in baseball, football, basketball and hockey, as well as season-long fantasy leagues. Ahead of this year’s event, Mark Hanna, president of RealTime Fantasy Sports, discussed how the FSTA Summer Conference continues to deliver value to his company:
FSTA: What is the value to your company of an FSTA sponsorship?
Hanna: Extremely valuable. The FSTA is the face of our industry, and it has helped to promote all of our businesses. The FSTA has also defended us in important litigation.
FSTA: As the industry continues to grow, why is attending the FSTA Summer Conference so important?
Hanna: The industry is always evolving. It is important to keep in touch with existing members, but it is equally important to form new relationships as the industry changes.
FSTA: What should first-time attendees do to make this a successful conference?
Hanna: First, if they are not already members, become one. It is a sound investment. Second, take the time to introduce yourself to as many other companies as possible. The more exposure, the better it is for everyone involved.
FSTA: What are the important topics that you are interested in hearing more about during the conference? Is there a ‘can’t-miss’ session for you?
Hanna: The one session that is always important is the legal panel. Hearing of the latest litigation in the industry is vital. The demographics panel is always important as well.
FSTA: When the conference is over, what will you hope to take away from the two days in New York?
Hanna: We are always striving to keep up with the pulse of the industry. What items are important today; what new, exciting products and features have been released; who are the new “players ” in the industry, etc. We also strive to make new relationships with every conference.
The 2015 FSTA Summer Conference is June 22-23 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Hotel in New York City. Registration for this event is still open. To register, go to www.fstaconference.com.
