We are very pleased with the positive momentum for the industry as Rhode Island joins many other states in helping to clarify that paid fantasy sports are legal. Over the past few weeks, state legislatures on both sides of the aisle in such diverse places as California, Florida, Indiana, Nebraska and Virginia have been working toward developing reasonable consumer protection measures. This will help ensure that millions of people can continue to play the games they love and that business and innovation will not be stifled.”
