With less than a month until the first pitch of the baseball season, SportsHub Technologies, an upstart player in the fantasy sports and eSports industries, has completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of RG Ventures, LLC and certain affiliates, including the CDM Sports’ suite of Fantasy Challenge and Draft and Play games. SportsHub will operate the games under the trade name “CDM Sports.” The acquisition signals SportsHub’s first move into the season-long fantasy sports business with expectations of more consolidation in the near term.
