Sportradar, the leading provider of sports data services globally, today announced the launch of new deep data coverage for eSports via its industry leading API.

Sportradar’s data feed provides key data points such as stats and results for all the leading game titles and tournaments, including CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends and StarCraft II.

By providing in-depth data such as scores, statistics, X/Y coordinates, standings, leaderboards and schedules, Sportradar is leading the way in ensuring media companies have the tools to cover eSports in the same manner as they would traditional sports.

“The rise of eSports in every facet, from the quality of the competitions to the sheer growth of the sport, is tremendous. What stands out to us is the number of digital media companies looking to acquire data and content that will allow them to provide in-depth coverage on a day-to-day basis.

Sportradar is truly unlocking the power of eSports data for our clients and partners across the globe. ” said Will Thornton, Business Development Manager, US at Sportradar.

Sportradar has quickly engrained itself as a core player within the eSports ecosystem. In addition to being a provider of deep data coverage, Sportradar teamed with ESL – the leading eSports competition organizer – last October in a partnership covering data as well as integrity measures.

Sportradar’s eSports Fraud Detection System is completely tailored to monitor all the relevant traditional and specialist betting markets around the world to ensure its eSports clients have the strongest safeguards in place to identify corrupt activity around its competitions. The company also recently delivered integrity workshops to the players at the Intel Extreme Masters in Katowice this March.
