MIDDLETON, Wis. – The Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association announced today the results of its Board of Directors’ Executive Committee elections.
Stacie Stern, Government Affairs Director at FanDuel, has won election as the organization’s new Chair. Stern becomes the first woman to lead the FSGA in its 22-year history. She succeeds Paul Charchian, Co-Founder of Fanball, who served in the post for the past 12 years.
“It’s a privilege to serve as Chair of the Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association,” said Stern. “I look forward to new responsibilities and challenges as our industry continues to grow momentum for legal, safe, mobile sports entertainment.
“On behalf of the Board and our entire industry, I’d like to thank Paul for his leadership and guidance over the past decade-plus.”
Charchian noted that Stern’s experience in the industry, combined with her insight into the intersection of government affairs and sports-tech entertainment, makes her an excellent fit to lead the FSGA’s member companies in the ever-changing gaming and sports entertainment industry.
The Board of Directors also elected the following individuals to Executive Committee positions:
· Vice Chair: Matthew Holt, President of U.S. Integrity
· Secretary: Howard Kamen, Director/Business Development at Gannett Media Corp./USA TODAY
· Treasurer: Brandon Loeschner, Partner, National Practice Leader/Gaming Services at RubinBrown LLP
