1 More Day to NYC: What to Watch For

The 2015 Fantasy Sports Trade Association Conference begins officially June 22 at 3 p.m. with the New Member Orientation, the Elevator Pitch Enrollment and the introduction of the winner of the first FSTA Hack-A-Thon, which will take place at noon on Sunday, June 21.

While there are great sessions throughout the day, here are a few sessions that are always important to all FSTA member companies and conference attendees.

Monday, June 22:

FSTA Experts League Fantasy Football Draft: 7 p.m. Get the 2015 fantasy football season started!

Tuesday, June 23:

FSTA Legal Update: 9:20 a.m. Get the latest information on legislative and legal issues affecting the FSTA and the fantasy sports industry.

Examining Trends in Participation, Spending and Mobile: 11:45 a.m. The latest FSTA research will provide a new baseline for fantasy sports participation and look at some of the key areas of potential growth.

Elevator Pitch Presentation: 1:30 p.m. The best new ideas in fantasy sports will face a jury of their peers, and the winners will be announced at 3:30 p.m.

FSTA Shark Tank: 3:45 p.m. The Elevator Pitch winner and other companies will face venture capitalists looking to evaluate (and maybe invest in) the next great fantasy sports idea.

An interview with Mark Tatum: 4:30 p.m. The Deputy NBA Commissioner and the league’s COO sits down with Eric Fisher of Sports Business Journal to look at the NBA’s relationship with fantasy sports.
